About the Artist
Allow me to introduce myself
My name is Corrina DiLella Cameron, but you can call me Corrina. I’m a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in oil painting and ceramics. I live and work in London, Ontario, Canada, but have called many parts of Ontario home over the years, from Thunder Bay in the Northwest to Tillsonburg in the Southwest.
Ontario is full of incredibly diverse landscapes and ever-changing skies. My oil paintings try to capture the emotional impression I get from these places and moments, with a particular focus on clouds. I’m inspired by artists like Tom Thomson, David Sharp, and Isaac Levitan with their use of colour and expressive brushwork.
My ceramics range from useful everyday wares to artistic pieces. In my pottery, I love the challenge of working out the engineering of a functional piece while still incorporating aesthetic choices so it is both practical and beautiful. For my more artistic pieces, my focus shifts to expressing emotions or ideas through texture, colour, and form.

Cloud Series
When I was diagnosed with cancer as a young adult, I discovered that painting with the language of clouds helped me to process the myriad of emotions I was experiencing. Since then, I’ve continued to come back to cloud paintings as therapy, a meaningful way to connect with my Creator, or to just enjoy their beauty.
Wilderness Women Series
A more recent exploration, this series contains paintings and mixed media work within the theme of resilient women in the wilderness of life guided by the Holy Spirit.
Creating Space Series
Creating Space is a series of wheel thrown pieces that incorporates Yobi-tugi as a metaphor for the beautiful and sacrificial work of creating space for “the other” in our lives and in our communities, only to find that we are more beautiful together.

It is important to me that I give back, so long ago I decided that 10% of my profits would go to charity. In 2024, I focused my donations towards World Central Kitchen who are providing meals for victims of natural disasters and war across the globe.
